The Cursed Nightmare
The rumors have been around the neighborhood for a while. Slaying the innocent through the shadows, sometimes killing them unconsciously. The story about the fallen angel has been spreading prevalently around the community in this tiny village; soon it will vanish and feast on the weak ones.
It all began on that day (called the Judgment Day by many priests) when a little young boy died for unknown reasons. He acted strangely weeks before he passed away; priests and monks suggested not to go near to him since he was supposedly possessed by a demon. If his parents were not stupid enough to name him Lucifer, then yes he was destined to be affected by a supernatural evil.
People soon after either left the town or died as victims of what we call the “Cursed Nightmare”. Reports of incidents never arrived to high officials of police and military, and if they did, the authorities disappeared for unknown reasons.
But how could one say that he died? The day after, the young boy was up, completely swift and healthy. Yet one knew that something was not right when he saw the eyes. Blood-red balls with tiny, black irregular dots on each. They were the eyes that would rest upon the dead. Each night, he would feast on a sleeping body, travelling through the shadows. The people who saw him had a countdown going down their veins. He would kill anybody who witnessed him. Those who did good would die, those who did bad were forgiven.
It was just a matter of time before Lucifer would slay all of the good people and let the evil rule the world.
